Police have arrested and charged a 39-year-old Sarasota man with murder for the death of his wife.
Spencer D. Sanders II is accused of killing Blanka Sanders Thursday evening at their home in the 900 block of 42nd Street.
Blanka's daughter found her dead after not being able to reach her during the day.
Detectives interviewed Spencer at the Sarasota Police Department. After that interview, he was arrested and charged.
Authorities have not released specific details about Blanka's death.
In May 2018, Spencer was arrested for domestic battery by strangulation.
He is being held in the Sarasota County Jail.
