TAMPA, Fla. — A crash along East Busch Boulevard in Tampa caused delays to Wednesday morning's commute.

Sky 10 flew over the scene on Busch Boulevard near 16th Street and captured two sedans with severe front-end damage near the railroad tracks next to a self-storage facility. One car sat sideways in the middle lane with debris scattered in the right lane.

Only the left lane was open to allow traffic through.

The other car had gone over the storage facility's fencing, with the front bumper facing the ground and the back of the car pointing up into the air. A section of the fence was knocked down. Water was also seen erupting from the ground next to where the car went over the fence.

It's not clear what kind of water system was damaged and whether there was a greater impact.

According to the Tampa Police Department, a car heading east entered the westbound lanes from the median. The drivers of both cars involved tried to avoid each other, police said, but the wrong-way driver crashed into the other car.

Video from Sky 10 also showed a person being taken away from a car on a stretcher.

Both drivers were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
