TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay area was battered by Hurricane Ian as it made landfall Wednesday, devastating parts of southwest Florida. Recovery efforts are underway now across the state and the cleanup is beginning where it's safe to do so. 

From trees uprooted to powerlines downed to flooding — those are just some of the impacts left behind in Ian's wake.  

We want to see your photos and videos on how Hurricane Ian impacted you! Whether that's a down tree, flooding, or debris, we want to feature you on 10 Tampa Bay. This is how you can share your photos with us.

Near Me

ON THE MOBILE APP

  1. Open the 10 Tampa Bay app on your smartphone.
  2. On the bottom right, you'll see a button called 'Near Me'—click it.
  3. Then from there, you'll see an orange button called 'Share with Us' — click it. 
  4. Upload your photo or video and fill out the form.
  5. Click submit and you're done!

Once you're done submitting your photos or videos, they will be reviewed and approved by 10 Tampa Bay. You can then see your photos or videos on the Near me map. 

You can also see photos and videos from other viewers in the Near Me section on the mobile app or the 10 Tampa Bay website. 

Text Message

Text 10 Tampa Bay at 727-577-8522 to share what you see happening in your community. You can text a photo or video, and be sure to include where you're from and where the photo or video is from!
