Blue Hyundai wanted in deadly St. Petersburg shooting

Police say its occupants fired upon the people inside the black BMW next to it.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two men were found with gunshot wounds inside a black BMW that crashed into a tree.

Police said it happened around 4:21 p.m. Wednesday on 1st Street Northeast near 20th Avenue. One man initially had life-threatening injuries and the other had serious injuries.

Quentin Hicks, 42, later died from his injuries, according to police. The other man's condition is not yet known.

St. Petersburg police released video showing a blue 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe driving away from the BMW; the department says its occupants fired upon the people inside the BMW.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 727-893-7780.
