Tampa mom's plus-size posts lands her a modeling contract

Sophie Hall shares her body-confident content to nearly 1 million followers on social media.

Growing up, Sophie Hall was always told she had beautiful eyes.

"I thought I was pretty because I had bright blue eyes. but that was it," said Hall.

Now a mom and signed model with a million Instagram followers, Hall is finding success with every plus size post she shares.

"I'm 6-1, 250 pounds, getting love and support online is a confidence booster for sure," said Hall.

Sophie never saw herself as a model. In fact, it was her sister Abigail who's had a modeling career since she was 17 years old.

"My sister has always been the one to model; she actually wants to be a model for Victoria Secret one day," said Hall.

After getting encouragement from her sister, Sophie decided to do a photo-shoot for fun and ultimately started her career as a plus-size influencer.

"I changed my Instagram from being personal pictures of me and the kids, to posting outfits and products. I paid for them at first and then companies started reaching out to me," Hall said.

Recently signing with Wilhemina Talent Agency in New York, Hall says she feels inspired to continue being herself and encouraging other women to do the same.

"I'll have women write me and tell me they're wearing a bikini for the first time because they found my page. I love that because once I decided to be the person I felt that I needed growing up, my life changed."
