Police say this man stole a man's wallet after he dropped it at Walmart

At first, the suspect wouldn't give the wallet back. Then he threw it down after taking money out of it, officials said.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Clearwater police have arrested the man they say stole another man's wallet after the victim dropped it.

Lorenzo Butler, 25, was the man seen on video picking up the wallet at a Walmart after the victim had dropped it on April 1, according to a news release.

The victim and his girlfriend followed the suspect out of the store and demanded it back, but Butler wouldn't return it, police said.
